Juliette's 3rd attempt at oatmeal

She was not keen on rice cereal so we tried the oatmeal. She wasn't as excited. We may need to move onto barley or veggies.

Little B is going to be 3!

My, oh my Brynnie is going to be 3!  Why on earth this is a shock to my system I don't know?! My perfect little pumpkin is almost a big girl...(barring the lack of potty training, but that's more of Mommy's lack of discipline now than Brynn's).  Here's B through the years.

Juliette's baptism

Sunday little Miss J was baptized. (Finally, after having to postpone January's attempt due to RSV.) A snowy Sunday for her baptism. She was the only baby to get baptized this month. She was the center of attention. Juliette wore the christening gown I wore, just like Claire and Brynn did. 

C was the photographer since Mark was getting the car packed up and shoveling. It's a little blurry but you get the idea.

The girls have the best imaginations. While at a park with an ark they both pretended to be pirates on a pirate ship. Probably not what the church who donated the ark had in mind however the girls thought it was a great idea!

Waiting for Markus

We had our ultrasound today!  Baby Trexler is measuring a few days ahead but is expected to arrive October 15, 2013.  He/she looks great, everything is in the correct parts and looks to be good.  I'm always nervous before these ultrasounds and Mark always calms me down.  Speaking of Mark... he is off to prepare my surprise!  He knows the baby's sex, I don't yet.  I had this silly idea that if we were going to find out he had to surprise me.  We had a great moment with Claire, that I remember so clearly.  I remember looking into his eyes and he's telling me "It's a girl!, It's a girl!"  I loved that.   Our moment with Brynnie was good too, but I wanted another private moment with him too, like I had with Claire.   So I'm creating another moment.  He's out right now preparing the balloons for the girls surprise (pink for girl, blue for boy)  and my surprise as well.  We came home and I could hear him upstairs through the monitor opening the envelope.  That telltale crinkling sound.  So he knows and I'm waiting.... Let you know soon!  In the meantime, here's a pic of Baby Trexler.

Easter 2013

After driving for two and a half days we made it to Florida to spend time with Nana and family.  The girls had fun finding their Easter Eggs and baskets.

 They had a less fun time at church...Claire was not getting the collection basket concept.  We got to go swimming in the afternoon too.  How often can you do that on Easter in Michigan?

Brynn's Second Birthday

Brynnie is two already!! Can you believe it? 

We had a Minnie Mouse birthday party for Brynn since she loves the mouse gang.  We named the food after each one of the clubhouse gang. We even created a pin the bow on Minnie.  I forgot about it actually but Claire remembered and made us all play.  She would direct you to the correct spot since she didn't want anyone to lose.  Brynnie wore her Minnie outfit and had a good time.  No molars coming through this year!

Headed to Florida

The girls have been great troopers through the drive. Of course the DVD player helps too. We've had our moments but all in all not a bad trip so far. Arrival time expected today!
