Oscar Party

The 15th annual Oscar party at the Trexler house occured last night!  We worked hard and slowly now that I am nine months pregnant and don't move that fast.  We got it all done even though I was a bit emotional yesterday.  Pregnancy is taking its toll on me.  I have 18 days left until this baby's due date and I am counting down.  We decided to send Claire to my parents for the night so we could prepare, host the party and relax.  I was emotional about that.  "Why was I sending my child away...wah, wah, wah"  It really was the best decision.  I was exhausted by 8pm.  There was no way I could have prepped, hosted, entertained Claire and put her to bed without going into labor last night!  This way I was able to enjoy the Oscar party with adult friends before we add a branch to this ol' family tree.  The Oakland Press came by to 'document ' our party and here is the link with pictures of the food entries.  I have to download the pics off the camera before I post them.  Enjoy:)

An Introduction...

I've no idea why I decided to start this blog,  no one even knows yet that I've decided to be a tiny voice in the blogosphere but here it goes. I suppose I just want to document this time in our lives while we are a young family and growing by the minute.  At nine months pregnant I don't sit that close to the computer anymore.  Welcome to my adventure as we prepare for Baby Girl #2 with a Clairsie girl, a cat and, hopefully, a little bit of fun.
